goals

The objective is to train graduates with a high level of competence to face and solve problems in the areas of natural resource management with a territorial focus.

Applicant Profile

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Resources or a degree in Renewable Natural Resources Engineering, granted by national or foreign universities recognized by the relevant State, or a professional degree or university degree in the area of natural resources or other related areas, such as agronomy, forestry, veterinary medicine, biology, environmental chemistry, and geography, whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile.

Graduate profile

The graduate is characterized by their ability to develop reflective and analytical thinking about the territory, its components and functioning, as well as the management of the different stages that make up the cycle of management, evaluation, diagnosis, planning and execution of territorial strategies.
At the same time, the program allows you to have a systemic vision, and to address the sustainable use of natural resources independently, innovatively and creatively, whether in the field of research or in professional practice.
