Applicant Profile
The Master in Health Systems Management (MGSS) is a professional postgraduate program that focuses on training managers for the management of public and private organizations that make up the Chilean Health System, whether in their capacity as providers, financers, or regulators.
Graduate profile
Upon completion of the training, the graduate of the Master's in Health Systems Management will be able to demonstrate:
• Fundamental knowledge of economics, management sciences, statistics and socio-cultural understanding of reality, applicable to the fields of management and
senior management of health institutions
• Ability to apply and integrate acquired theoretical and practical knowledge, considering the socio-economic context of health systems embedded in a
constantly evolving sectoral reality
• Ability to implement the management and leadership of public and private organizations within the Health System at the National, Regional, and Local levels, considering the
economic, social and cultural particularities.
• Personal competencies and social interaction skills relevant to the exercise of strategic thinking, leadership, effective communication and teamwork
team, for the management of public and private organizations, whether they are providers, financiers and regulators of the health sector.
From a cross-cutting perspective, upon completion of the training, the Master's graduate will be able to integrate into their professional performance the professional competencies of Functional Administration of Operations and Logistics, Management and Development of People and Strategic Management, as well as the personal competencies of Teamwork, Leadership and Communication, necessary to achieve excellent performance in the context of their own organizational realities.
