The Master in Operations Management (MGO) seeks to train graduates of excellence in operations research, who could face complex problems in operations management, integrating mathematical, economic and technological tools.

Applicant Profile

Those who hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title in disciplinary fields related to the specialty, whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee of the Program, may apply.

Graduate profile

Graduates of the Master's Program in Operations Management are professionals who address complex problems in the field of operations management, integrating mathematical, economic, and technological tools to provide value-added solutions for private, public, and non-profit organizations. They demonstrate the ability to:

1.- Evaluate the different elements of complex problems that arise in organizations, and which are key to solving them.
2.- Solve complex problems in operations management and develop solutions, considering mathematical, economic and technological tools, in various functional areas of the organization.
3.- Develop research and methodological applications in complex problems, associated with operations in different types of organizations.
4.- Model optimization problems associated with operations management.

Graduates of the Master's Program in Operations Management are characterized by advanced training in modeling and optimization, enabling them to rigorously and independently solve complex problems in operations management across various functional areas of organizations. Their training ensures preparation for lifelong learning, as well as critical and self-critical thinking. Graduates of the University of Chile will be distinguished by their ethical commitment, respect for the environment, and social and civic responsibility.
