goals
General objective
To train graduates with technological management skills to identify innovative products and their corresponding generation of product prototypes (good or service), processes, organizational model and/or marketing model, and technological transfer skills that allow protecting the key aspects of the innovation business and its insertion into the market (licensing) for the development of economic sectors, through multidisciplinary work that favors the success of the insertion of the innovation.
Specific objectives
• To train in skills to diagnose, plan and develop innovative products, enabling the creation of new businesses and the proposal of innovative and self-sustaining solutions.
• Provide technical tools that support the search for financing for development and innovation in the market.
• To train in skills to transfer innovative products or services, through technological monitoring, competitive intelligence and the transfer and insertion of the product into the market.
• Strengthen multidisciplinary teamwork skills that promote leadership and effective communication in the development of innovative products.
Applicant Profile
The Master's Program is geared towards professionals in general with some connection to innovation, whether they are researchers, professionals from Research and/or Technology Transfer Units and Centers, and professionals from the public and/or private sector (SMEs), who work in areas prioritized by the Antofagasta region or related to the regional innovation ecosystem.
The applicants' skills are linked to proactivity, teamwork, effective communication, perseverance in achieving objectives, a drive for personal improvement, and self-management skills.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Innovation and Technology Transfer Project Management at the University of Antofagasta are specialists in the areas of innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, with training in various disciplines. They possess expertise in innovation management, public policy, environmental legislation, entrepreneurship, applied research, and partnership strategies to create, contribute to, and evaluate the implementation of new or improved solutions for public and/or private organizations.
The graduate will be able to create, develop and implement innovation processes, contribute to collaboration between organizations to enhance technology transfer and address problems whose solution generates value for society.
