goals

General Objective.
To train graduates capable of applying relevant knowledge in the area of Public Policy; to recognize the main problems of public management, to develop skills and attitudes leading to the resolution of problems in and through public organizations, whose aims are the improvement of the living conditions of citizens in democratic contexts.
Specific objectives.
a) To train specialists who evaluate the dynamics of the public sphere, the behavior of actors in society and the constitution of the public agenda.
b) To train graduates capable of solving public problems through the relevant design and systematic evaluation of public policies.
c) Improve the management of public organizations by guiding them towards the pursuit of objectives with a strategic purpose.

Applicant Profile

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and/or professional title, with a duration of at least eight semesters, in areas related to public problem-solving or a discipline related to management and public policy. In the latter case, the Program Committee will evaluate the applicant's academic background.

Graduate profile

a) Identify the processes of policy formulation and public agenda building in a variety of scenarios.
b) Critically evaluate the chances of success of a public policy, the relevance of its objectives and the effectiveness and efficiency of its implementation.
c) Apply strategic management approaches and methods oriented towards problem-solving in public sector organizations.
d) Design organizational change processes in relation to their environment.
