It strengthens professionals in the field of Public Management, training them to build responses to the present and future challenges of a State capable of responding to the demands of Society, providing them with professional and managerial skills for the optimal development of their role in the public system.

Applicant Profile

Professional title or equivalent Bachelor's degree issued by a national or foreign Higher Education institution of at least 8 semesters, recognized by the State of Chile.

Graduate profile

The professional will be able to propose and implement public value solutions to meet the needs of organizations in a modern, globalized state with an empowered and informed citizenry. They will lead multidisciplinary teams, incorporating a forward-looking and innovative perspective, and demonstrating transparency, ethics, and integrity in their actions.

Develops competencies in the disciplinary domains of Public Management, Foresight and Strategy, Public Policy, and Public Service, evaluating political, economic, and social scenarios to incorporate them into planning processes, considering the principles of social responsibility. Develops managerial skills to lead, communicate, and negotiate with interdisciplinary work teams, both within and outside the organization, for the development of public management in various areas of performance. Designs public value propositions considering organizational management processes and their impact or externalities. Designs Public Policies considering the international, national, regional, and local context, with prospective analysis, and performs their duties within the normative and regulatory framework of public management with responsibility, ethics, and integrity.

The graduate will be able to work in various public and private institutions, especially in Ministries, Public Services, Regional and Local Governments; International Organizations, universities, productive sectors, R&D institutions and Research Centers, among others.
