goals
To train advanced-level professionals, competent both in professional intervention and in the development of applied research in different family contexts, in response to the complex reality that the family experiences in today's society.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional title in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or be a Professor or other health professional. A photocopy of the degree, legalized by a notary public, is required (only for non-UFRO graduates).
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Family Studies and Development at the University of La Frontera will possess high-quality, up-to-date theoretical and methodological training in family intervention and applied research. This training will equip them to utilize current and traditional intervention models, generate new proposals and/or models on the subject, and develop studies that contribute to knowledge and serve as a foundation for intervention in their respective areas of expertise. The preparation they receive will enable them to work in specialized care services, participate in study groups, lead initiatives, and contribute to academic and professional development in family-related fields.
