goals

To train graduates capable of developing reflections and research from a gender perspective. The program also aims to provide tools and methods for social and cultural intervention from this perspective.

Applicant Profile

Applicants to the program must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, or a professional title requiring a minimum of four years of higher education. Students with a degree or title equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and a teaching qualification may also be considered; the equivalency will be determined by the Program's Academic Committee.

Graduate profile

The desired graduate profile is that of a graduate with training and expert skills in the areas of gender and cultural studies, whose specialization is projected in the workplace, as well as in the continuation of doctoral studies, to actively contribute to the development of Social Sciences in the country, from a critical perspective.
