goals
To train, from an interdisciplinary perspective, graduates who possess both up-to-date knowledge in the various areas of human cognition and basic research skills in the field of cognitive studies. In this sense, the program focuses exclusively and continuously on aspects such as intelligence, cognition, learning, and related topics at the national level.
Applicant Profile
Possess a Bachelor's degree in disciplinary fields related to cognitive science, such as engineering, biology, psychology, linguistics, philosophy and anthropology (or a professional title whose level, content and duration of studies corresponds to an equivalent training to that of the Bachelor's Degree of the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee of the program.

Graduates will participate in multidisciplinary research projects in fields such as psychology, education, applied linguistics, and neuropsychology, among others. They will also be equipped to redirect their professional or academic careers within their initial area of study, incorporating the interdisciplinary perspective of cognitive science. Based on the program's outcomes, it is evident that our graduates are prepared to conduct research at internationally renowned centers of excellence.
