goals
The Program aims to train Masters in Statistics who are capable of efficiently responding to the needs of the professional environment in the field of Statistics and the large number of disciplines that use statistics, in terms of advanced graduate training, within the value-based training of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso.
Applicant Profile
The program is aimed at Chileans and foreigners who hold a Bachelor's degree or a Professional Title, whose level and content of studies are equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree and which has been granted by a University recognized by the State of Chile.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the program are trained to develop the necessary skills to design, implement, and propose statistical methodologies and procedures in order to analyze, interpret, and deliver information that contributes to decision-making in diverse organizations that have data as a central aspect of their business strategy.
Furthermore, the graduate is able to understand how complex data structures can be leveraged to enhance the work of an organization, considering the impact that data generates and proposing areas of competitive advantage.
Finally, the program empowers the student to face the challenges associated with all areas of knowledge that make use of Statistics, having the ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams and strategically connect data.
