• General Objective:
The Master's Program in Education with a specialization in Educational Evaluation has the general objective of training researchers with solid knowledge in the area of educational evaluation, which will enable them to produce and communicate scientific knowledge, thus contributing to the development of education and the disciplinary bodies of pedagogy.

Specific objectives:
To build a solid theoretical foundation that allows you to understand and analyze educational reality from the different areas of knowledge that constitute the disciplinary field of pedagogy.
To develop scientific knowledge in the field of educational evaluation that contributes to the disciplinary corpus of pedagogy.

Applicant Profile

Teachers in the school system, professionals who teach in higher education institutions, and professionals linked to the educational field interested in promoting changes in their respective institutions (for example, psychologists, sociologists, or others). In all cases, they must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Graduate profile

The Master's program in Education will aim to train researchers with solid knowledge in the area of education, enabling them to produce and communicate scientific knowledge, especially in the area of evaluation, thus contributing to the development of education and the disciplinary corpus of pedagogy.

Main Line:
EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION
This research focuses on evaluative practices at different educational levels—preschool, primary, secondary, and higher education—from various conceptual frameworks (measurement and understanding), and their impact. It encompasses the areas of learning assessment, institutional evaluation, and teaching evaluation, with a particular emphasis on initial and ongoing teacher training.

PEDAGOGICAL KNOWLEDGE AND THE TEACHING PROFESSION
This line of research—as its name suggests—focuses on the construction and application of knowledge acquired through teaching practice and reflection, with the aim of understanding the teacher-learner interaction both within pedagogical practice and the culture of educational institutions. It draws upon and contributes to the discussion of learning, teaching, and assessment theories, didactics, and professional identity.
CITIZENSHIP, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Its object of study is education as a political act involving the right to education and social justice. It addresses the various problems of educational assessment in relation to diversity among people in specific contexts. It seeks to contribute to the generation of knowledge that promotes educational inclusion.
