goals

1. To contribute to the training of professionals in skills related to physical activity for health, motor skills and sports practice, from a pedagogical, systematic and applied perspective, which allow learning through the design, implementation and evaluation of educational actions, and provide solutions to various needs in the area.
2. To promote an analytical, reflective, critical and innovative professional performance, oriented towards improving the quality of education in Chile and the southern macro zone, committed to the values of the institutional work, especially with the characteristics that configure the specificity of the territoriality where they will develop as postgraduate students.

Applicant Profile

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a degree in Sports, Health, or Social Sciences with demonstrable professional experience and/or training in Physical Education. The professional degree must be from an equivalent program of study lasting at least eight semesters (240 SCT-Chile credits).

Graduate profile

The graduation profile includes the development and evidence of the following competencies or performances:

1. Critically analyze the professional work of the discipline, considering the approaches, theories and evidence existing in the field of physical education, using scientific inquiry tools and technological management, which favor optimal professional performance, in accordance with the ethical values and principles that inspire the institutional work.
2. Implement physical activity proposals related to human well-being, education and motor performance for diverse contexts, considering the characteristics of the environment, national policies and scientific advances in the discipline, from a socially and ethically responsible perspective.

1. Human well-being, health and physical exercise.
2. Human motor skills.
3. Technical training and high sport performance.
