The fundamental objectives of the Master's Program in Physical Education are:
To respond to a growing demand from professionals who wish to update and extend their intellectual development by obtaining an academic master's degree.
To contribute quantitatively and quantitatively to the training of professionals with a master's degree, and capacity in the formulation and management of research projects applied to physical conditioning, enabling them to develop and create high-level teaching programs.
To provide significant support for the development of applied sciences that contribute significantly to the knowledge of human motor skills and physical adaptation with a view to achieving a healthy life.

Academic Degree of Bachelor or equivalent Professional Title in the area of Education, Physical Education, Health Careers, granted by a University or Institution of Higher Education, National or Foreign, duly accredited
Graduate profile
The Master in Physical Education with specializations trained at the University of La Frontera is a graduate with the ability to perform in (1) research, (2) intervention, (3) evaluation and (4) teaching.
He has training in motor theories; the scientific and biological bases of behavior; and research methodologies. His training qualifies him to:
(1.1.) Discriminate a conceptual and methodological repertoire of research in the area of physical activity considering the particularities of the population to be studied;
(2.1.) Implement various plans or programs of physical activity considering the needs of the population to be intervened in order to critically resolve motor processes;
(3.1.) Compare pre and post results obtained in the execution of an intervention plan or program with the parameters to improve the current situation of the user(s);
(3.2.) Evaluate the different measurement instruments according to the characteristics of the individual or group being evaluated to determine the effectiveness of the intervention strategy;
(4.1.) Apply different movement-related strategies within the teaching-learning process in order to solve problems in diverse groups.
He has the ability to integrate into work teams, acting ethically and contributing from his critical thinking and ability to learn to learn in the face of challenges and changes in the environment.
Graduates with a Master's degree in Physical Education from the University of La Frontera will be able to work in educational centers, secondary health care centers, community programs, and in private practice.
