Applicants to the Master's Program in Special Education and Psychopedagogy are professionals in the field of Special Education or related disciplines. Prospective students are characterized by their research skills, which address problems within the field of Special Education. These prospective Master's students should be interested in disseminating their scientific work through publications and teaching at the university level.
Graduate profile
The graduate of the Master's program in Special Education and Psychopedagogy will demonstrate competence in the proposal, design, execution, and evaluation of projects in the following areas:
Research in special education that contributes to scientific development for addressing diversity and evidence-based practice in teaching, responding to the specific learning and participation barriers present in educational and non-educational contexts. With the training received, it is expected that graduates will act according to ethical principles that allow them to contribute responsibly to society and educational communities, from a transdisciplinary research perspective of both individuals and institutions, thus contributing to the generation of scientific knowledge at the national and international levels.
