The Master's Program in Economics has as its main objective to provide postgraduate training with theoretical foundations and empirical applications relevant to academic work.
Applicant Profile
Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the program leading to the Master's degree in Economics:
1.- To hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee
2.- Demonstrate prior training in accordance with the aims and requirements of the Master in Economics.
Graduate profile
The program aims to train highly qualified economists who can effectively apply economic principles in their professional careers within select fields of specialization, by providing them with the necessary tools and conceptual foundations. Furthermore, the program seeks to academically prepare those aspiring to pursue doctoral studies in economics. Our graduates will be qualified to join various research institutions, higher education institutions, and research groups in both public and private organizations.
