Lines of investigation

The Master's program in Sustainable Environment Design has three mixed development areas and situated research:
1. CONTEXTUAL THEORY AND DESIGN: This approach understands and addresses contemporary space as an uncertain dimension. Context then refers to the situated nature of socio-cultural life, shaping a contextual design approach from a perspective of cultural relevance, welcoming the lifestyles of the people and communities involved.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN: emphasizes environmental balance, energy assessment and its socio-cultural relevance in the environment.
3. PARTICIPATORY DESIGN: the foundations of this approach and current and emerging models of public participation are valued.
