goals
1- To contribute to the generation of researchers in didactics trained to build socially relevant knowledge with clear theoretical and methodological foundations.
To contribute to the professionalization of the processes of didactic design and intervention in the school system, based on the contributions of the didactic field to these areas of performance.
2.- To build interdisciplinary relationships with other academic units for the better understanding and teaching of the most relevant debates in the field of didactics.
3.- To participate and influence in a reflective and critical manner in didactic, pedagogical and educational debates, with emphasis on influencing the design of public policies in education.
4.- Facilitate the establishment of lines of research in didactics, promoting the theoretical and methodological synergy necessary for the scientific development of the field.
5.- To promote the design, evaluation and advising of didactic proposals within a democratic, culturally relevant and socially appropriate framework, in diverse educational contexts.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a degree or academic title equivalent to a bachelor's degree from the University of Chile, and have experience in formal or non-formal teaching. They are expected to be proactive, interested in understanding the diverse needs and expectations of society in educational matters, and willing to study and work as part of a team.
Graduate profile
Graduates will be able to:
1.- To develop solid arguments around the epistemological, political and historical foundations that support the discussion of Didactics, as a field of study within Pedagogy, in contexts of academic and professional debate.
2.- To prepare and develop research in the field of Didactics with rigor and theoretical and methodological relevance, which contribute to the improvement of pedagogical processes and to the enrichment of the current educational debate in academic and professional contexts.
3.- To diagnose didactic situations, guiding or advising decisions from a critical perspective of the problems and solutions, always attending to the integral and transformative training of subjects in formal and non-formal environments.
4.- Design, implement and evaluate innovative teaching proposals, from a collaborative perspective and with attention to relevance in diverse educational contexts, situated historically and culturally.
