goals
The program, which began in 2001, has the following objectives: To provide students with a solid conceptual foundation that enables them to reflect deeply on the problems of development and modernization from a human development perspective. To develop competencies for the design, management, and evaluation of public, private, and academic programs, strategies, investments, and actions aimed at local and regional human development. To equip students with advanced methodologies for conducting applied research on local and regional development processes, with a special emphasis on generating knowledge relevant to achieving human development.
Applicant Profile
Professional Title and/or Bachelor's Degree in areas of training related to the subject of the Program, granted by a national or foreign university in a program officially recognized in Chile.
Graduate profile
Upon completion of the program, graduates will have developed the skills to design, manage, and evaluate public, private, and academic programs, strategies, investments, and initiatives focused on local and regional human development. They will possess the ability to conduct applied research on regional and local development processes, with a particular emphasis on generating knowledge relevant to achieving human development. They will have a continuous capacity for seeking new knowledge and the skills to work in teams and resolve conflicts, directing their efforts toward achieving common goals.
