goals
• General objective:
To update and deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge of those entering postgraduate studies, with the purpose of developing specialized-level skills in the diagnosis and design of relevant solutions to communication problems of different natures.
Specific objectives:
-Develop skills to observe, problematize and analyze different communication processes.
-Advising organizations of different natures, public, private and social, on communication management and intervention, contributing to processes of diagnosis, design, execution and evaluation of strategic communication plans.
– To promote the development of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills that allow students to manage and evaluate the communication that organizations build in their relationship with internal and external audiences.
– To know, understand and manage knowledge based on the latest trends in the field of applied communication: in media and organizations.
– To contribute to organizational development, from the perspective of strategic communication.
– To update training and reflection on communication, in accordance with the complex local and global contexts faced by this discipline and those who practice it.
Applicant Profile
• Modality 1
This option is for those who hold a bachelor's degree or professional qualification and have completed the "Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Communication" offered by the School of Journalism. Other graduates, higher education professionals, or those with equivalent qualifications may also apply, provided they can demonstrate postgraduate or post-degree studies that provide them with a solid foundation in Strategic Communication.
The evaluation of these applications will be carried out by the Academic Committee of the program.
Mode 2
This modality is primarily aimed at graduates, professionals or graduates whose levels of study are equivalent to those of a graduate and who do not possess a solid academic background in the field of Strategic Communication.
Mode 3
This modality is aimed at those interested who hold the degree of "Bachelor in Social Communication" or the title of "Journalist", awarded by this university and express their interest in pursuing this postgraduate program;
Graduate profile
The Master in Communication is a postgraduate program whose graduate profile is to train professionals with ethical and value principles, with theoretical and practical training in Communication, enabling them to develop communication projects in media and organizations of different natures.
Graduates will be able to form interdisciplinary teams in different fields and types of organizations such as media, institutions, public and private companies, community and non-governmental organizations, and innovation and entrepreneurship agencies.
