• The Master's Program in Microbiological Sciences, offered by the Institute of Biology, is an academic postgraduate program whose objective is to integrate the training of graduates and professionals in the area of biological sciences with advanced knowledge in the area of Microbiological Sciences, generating highly qualified graduates to propose and carry out specialized research in the area of Microbiological Sciences.

Applicant Profile

• Applicants to this program must hold a university degree or academic title in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. The academic degree must be at least equivalent to a bachelor's degree, and the professional title must demonstrate a level and content of studies equivalent to that required to obtain a bachelor's degree, all in accordance with the legal regulations of the Ministry of Education.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Microbiology program are characterized by their research skills and proficiency in the field of Microbiology. To achieve this, they have deepened their knowledge through coursework in specific topics within the areas of Applied Microbiology, including Microbial Interactions, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Immunology, among others.
