Applicant Profile

The basic requirement for admission is to hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics or related disciplines, or a professional qualification whose level, content and duration of studies are equivalent to those required to obtain the corresponding Bachelor's degree.

Graduate profile

The graduate will have the following competencies in their profile: Transversal Generic Competencies 1. Develop research activities, under the supervision of an expert, in the field of their specialization to generate new knowledge. 2. Act with high standards of professional responsibility and ethics in the exercise of research activities for the benefit of society. 3. Communicate methodologies, results and conclusions, effectively, orally and in writing, to contribute to the development of the discipline.
4. Proactively form research teams from the perspective of their area of specialization for the execution of disciplinary or multidisciplinary projects. Specific Disciplinary Competencies 1. Identify mathematical tools and techniques from a perspective specific to their area of specialization or another to solve problems in pure or applied mathematics. 2. Combine advanced theories and methods in the field of their area of specialization or another to demonstrate original mathematical results.
