goals
To train graduates with fundamental disciplinary knowledge in theoretical and/or applied physics, enabling them to develop research in the lines declared by the program; contributing to the development of the area, solving problems of contemporary physics, communicating the fundamentals and results of their scientific research at the national and international level.
Applicant Profile
The program is primarily intended for graduates in Physics, graduates in Engineering Sciences, Physics or Physics and Mathematics teachers, professionals with a degree or title with fundamental knowledge in Physics and Mathematics, and Engineering graduates with a technological base of at least 8 academic semesters
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program possess a fundamental knowledge of physics, understanding and applying the discipline's laws and utilizing the necessary tools to describe natural phenomena. They are also equipped to develop solutions to physical problems through theoretical development, modeling, or experimentation via research within the program's defined areas of focus. Furthermore, graduates contribute to solving modern-day problems with a scientific approach, contributing to the scientific community's discussions by communicating their findings at both national and international levels.
