The Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a mixed program that aims to train high-level specialists in the areas of pharmaceutical technology and engineering, capable of contributing to the generation of new knowledge and/or products through research, development and innovation.

Applicant Profile

Those eligible to apply to the Program are individuals holding a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training with competencies in the areas of Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering Sciences and other sciences related to the design, development and evaluation of medicines and nutritional supplements, granted by the University of Chile or another University recognized by the State or a degree or title conferred by national or foreign universities that are equivalent or similar to the studies indicated.

1.- Academic Profile: The graduate of the Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences has acquired skills and has up-to-date knowledge in the areas of pharmaceutical technology and engineering, enabling them to develop processes and formulate pharmaceutical products and nutritional supplements under current regulations, transmit information, develop research and extension
2. Professional Profile: Graduates with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences are professionals who have acquired expertise in pharmaceutical technology and engineering, enabling them to manage production, regulatory aspects, and intellectual property. They are also capable of proposing specific solutions to problems encountered in the industrial sector, in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Engineering Practices (GEP), as well as designing advanced pharmaceutical dosage forms.
