goals
This program aims to train specialized human resources in the areas of Materials or Extractive Metallurgy, competent in applying Engineering Sciences to find technological solutions to problems in the productive and scientific sectors, through applied research and/or development. It seeks to train graduates who will preferably enter industry to conduct applied research and technological development in materials or extractive metallurgy. Graduates will be equipped to strengthen research and development units within companies. They will also be able to carry out research and technological innovation projects in the aforementioned areas.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a professional qualification equivalent to the level, content, and duration of studies required to obtain the corresponding Bachelor's degree. The applicant's academic record will be reviewed by the Program Committee, which will decide on the application based on the academic record and letters of recommendation.
Graduate profile
Graduates are characterized by their advanced training in Materials Engineering and/or Extractive Metallurgy. They possess a high level of theoretical and experimental knowledge, enabling them to solve complex engineering problems.
