goals
The main objective of the Master's Program in Engineering Sciences, with a specialization in Structural, Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering, is to train graduates with strong analytical skills and solid foundations in theoretical and applied aspects in one of the following areas: Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Design, Soil Mechanics and Seismic Engineering, for performance in professional and academic functions at a higher level, university teaching and research.
Applicant Profile
Those who hold a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Title awarded by a national or foreign higher education institution, whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of the Bachelor's Degree at the University of Chile in areas related to Civil Engineering, as determined by the Academic Committee of the Program, may apply to the program.
Graduate profile
The graduate of the program will have up-to-date knowledge in new technologies, analysis methodologies, static and seismic design, to maintain a professional standard in accordance and compatible with the new demands worldwide, or to continue doctoral studies in their area of specialization.
