goals
General objective:
To develop analytical and applied skills in their students for the practice of scientific research and technological development in the area of Mechanical Engineering.
Secondary Objectives:
1. To enhance research through the training of advanced human capital capable of generating new scientific knowledge of national and international interest, through graduates who continue doctoral studies.
2. To promote the transfer of knowledge for the development of new technologies that increase regional and national competitiveness, through the future professional practice in industry or the independent entrepreneurship of its graduates.
Applicant Profile
Students entering the MIM program should possess a strong foundation in basic sciences and engineering sciences, with a particular emphasis on materials science, strength of materials, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. Skills in programming, computer simulations, or experimental testing are also desirable.
Furthermore, the student must possess a proactive and independent attitude and foster collaborative and interdisciplinary work within a context of scientific rigor. Basic written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
