goals
General objective: To provide modern knowledge, techniques and tools so that graduates can design, analyze and control systems related to the conversion of energy to electricity, and disseminate their developments to the academic and professional community.
Specific objectives
– To train graduates who have a more sustainable vision regarding new
alternative energy sources that the country needs.
-To promote different specialization options for graduates within the framework of the program's research lines.
Applicant Profile
Applicants for the Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Energy Conversion must have a basic understanding of electromagnetism, electrical engineering, electromechanics, and electronics, as well as basic skills in the development of control and digital systems. Therefore, applicants are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. In addition, applicants must demonstrate a minimum English proficiency level of A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Energy Conversion will be able to solve problems and/or conduct research in energy to electrical energy conversion systems, where they will be able to address various applications, including integration, distribution and control of power converters.
