Lines of investigation

1. Movement and Cognition. Human movement is understood as action and perceptual experience derived from embodied behavior, with observable expressions ranging from the molecular-cellular level to the sociocultural level. Human cognition, in turn, refers to the capacity to know and interact with the world, which derives from attentional, motivational, memory, and learning processes that guide action in response to environmental challenges and generate embodied experiences. 2. Research and Professional Innovation. The Research and Professional Innovation area is a fundamental pillar in the training of graduates of the Master's Program in Applied Sciences to Human Movement and Cognition, as it provides tools for formulating relevant problems and generating strategies to address solutions in various professional fields. The purpose of this area is to improve professional performance in different areas of action to contribute to human well-being, learning, physical performance, working conditions, and other areas, integrated within the Movement-Cognition-Health axis.
