goals
To train professionals and researchers who are able to reflectively use the theoretical knowledge and research methodologies generated by the social studies of science and technology for the analysis and intervention on contemporary social problems, especially those in which the products of science and technology occupy preponderant places.
Applicant Profile
The program is designed for professionals and academics in the social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. It aims to create a multidisciplinary group in line with the transdisciplinary emphasis of science and technology social studies. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.

Graduate profile
The graduate profile is organized around four
dimensions:

Theoretical-conceptual: that the graduates
understand what the perspective of the
social studies of science and technology and
how it contributes to the analysis of society.

Research: that graduates can design,
implement and analyze empirical material from
a perspective of social studies of the
science and technology.
C.
Ethics: that graduates can develop their
research in accordance with ethical frameworks
relevant to the social studies of science and
technology.
D.
Communication and dissemination of results: that
graduates have the ability to write
essays, articles and theses in one format
academic appropriate to the master's level
in which they can develop and present
arguments relevant to the problems of
the country's science, technology, and society.
