goals
The Master's in Data Science, taught by the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile, is a program whose objective is to train professionals who have a solid preparation in computing and mathematical tools to handle and analyze large volumes of data and/or high complexity, in order to generate knowledge and information of high value.
Applicant Profile
Those who hold a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Title granted by a national or foreign higher education entity, whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's Degree or professional title whose level, content and duration of studies correspond at least to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Chile in areas related to Engineering, as determined by the Academic Committee of the Program, may apply to the Master's Program in Data Science.
Graduate profile
The Master's program aims to train data scientists with a solid theoretical foundation, extensive mastery of data processing and analysis tools, first-hand experience in the computational implementations of these tools, and broad capabilities to participate in interdisciplinary groups.
