Hold a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related sciences. Professional title whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Chile; Chemistry and Pharmacy; Medical Technology; Chemistry; Veterinary Medicine; Medicine; Food Engineering; Biotechnology; Biotechnology Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Biology; Environmental Biology; Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences.

The Graduate Profile is to enable graduates to address complex issues in a systematic and creative manner, demonstrating originality in the application of knowledge from specific areas of Biochemistry through the formulation and resolution of problems.

2. Effects of organic and inorganic pollutants and bioavailability of metals on biological systems
3. Characterization of microorganisms and enzymes from extreme environments for energy generation, industrial and agricultural processes
4.- Molecular mechanisms of cancer
5. Molecular mechanisms of non-communicable diseases
6. Molecular mechanisms of infectious diseases
7. Protein structure and its participation in biological processes
8.- Alterations in protein structure in chronic diseases
9.- Production of recombinant proteins and antibodies for production and/or diagnostic purposes
10. Development of simultaneous systems for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases (theragogics)
11. Molecular and pharmacogenetic bases of the response to drugs, toxins and drug dependence
12.- Molecular diagnosis in health and forensic context and application of molecular markers for the characterization of human populations and other species.
