goals
It is an interdisciplinary study program focused on artistic exploration, research, and creation that seeks to offer theoretical and applied tools related to contemporary artistic practices, within a framework of experimental options through the integration of media and disciplines, for the creation and realization of authorial productions within the framework of the integration of technological, conceptual, and expressive resources.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a professional degree whose level, content, and duration of study correspond to training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chile, as determined by the program's Academic Committee. Graduate profile
Graduates will have acquired, during their training, an interdisciplinary vision and professional skills to conduct production and research in the field of media arts with a reflective and applied approach to the execution of creative projects, articulated in the short, medium, and long term. Regarding the specific skills and competencies that graduates of the program will possess, we find:
1.- Specialization and recognition of the field, both local and global, associated with Art and New Technologies
2. Ability to reflect on contemporary artistic movements
3. Ability to be an active creator in New Media
4. Critical and reflective capacity regarding contemporary art and the inclusion of technology
5. Ability to design the processes associated with artistic creation
6. Skills in artistic production and creation in the disciplinary and interdisciplinary field
7.- Ability to investigate artistic phenomena in their theoretical and practical phase.
8.- Ability to communicate concisely in presentations at national and international colloquiums, congresses or festivals.
