In this program, students will be able to delve into the cinematographic arts in great depth and finish their studies with polished professional audiovisual works.
Applicant Profile
Graduates or professionals in the audiovisual field or similar, with an undergraduate degree. Those related to the areas of Audiovisual Creation who wish to deepen their knowledge in order to be able to generate professional cinematographic works.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's program will possess the necessary skills to perform various roles in filmmaking—whether in pre-production, production, or digital post-production—and will also be able to apply their knowledge of executive production, new business development, marketing, and distribution to both traditional cinema and new digital platforms. This will enable them to integrate into interdisciplinary teams within the professional film industry.
Lines of investigation
The research areas are geared towards strengthening skills for creating and directing complex audiovisual projects, both fiction and non-fiction; for self-managing audiovisual productions, both collective and individual; and for contributing to the field of audiovisual content based on the knowledge acquired throughout the academic program. This acquired knowledge will also enable students to develop creative and innovative approaches to the communication process and new technologies, integrating artistic and authorial work with a strong emphasis on the realities of the region, the country, and the Latin American continent.
