To promote in its graduates the critical and integrative reflection of knowledge about the past of humanity, studying its diverse social, cultural and biological phenomena from the archaeological perspective.
Applicant Profile
Bachelor's degree or professional title, from a national or international institution, whose level and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chile, in Anthropology with a mention in Archaeology, or in related disciplines
Graduate profile
Students graduating from this program will be equipped to contribute to a deeper understanding of humanity's past and to actively participate in addressing the country's heritage and social issues, both prehistoric and historical. These skills will enable them to work as specialist researchers in universities, research centers, and highly demanding public and private organizations.
