General objective
To contribute to professional development in the area of food technology and safety in the country, through the training of specialized professionals with the ability to contribute to solving food safety problems and technological challenges in the sector.
Specific objectives
To train professionals specializing in the development of the productive sector in:
– Protection of food for human consumption.
– To efficiently manage resources in the food production process.
– To contribute to the design and implementation of new techniques in the preparation, preservation and storage of food.

Graduates of this program should be professionals with specialized training in the scientific and technological principles of food production processes, with a particular emphasis on ensuring the hygienic and organoleptic quality of food. They will understand and integrate knowledge that allows them to develop programs for the control and improvement of the quality of animal-derived foods for human consumption.

– Diagnostic techniques and epidemiological studies in the detection of microorganisms
– Evaluation and validation of the methodology for detecting residues in food
– Implementation of milk production factors associated with quality and its products
– Analysis of results of the chemical, physical and microbiological quality of food
– Evaluation of quality assurance techniques for meat products in the slaughterhouse
– Development and evaluation of meat analysis from exotic animal species
