General objective
To train qualified graduates in research in specific areas of Hispanic literary studies: Hispanic American, Chilean, Spanish literature and literary theory; capable of communicating and disseminating research results, as well as projecting their development by joining research projects and groups.
Specific objectives

Applicant Profile
The Master's program in Hispanic Literatures will prioritize a background linked to the humanities and arts, demonstrable interest and projection in the area of Hispanic literary studies, basic knowledge of Hispanic literatures, and sufficient ability to clearly express ideas of increasing complexity.
Graduate profile
The graduate will have the skills to interpret and critically analyze representative works of Hispanic literature within their historical and cultural contexts, and to identify relevant problems and apply appropriate study models to those problems.
