General objective
To train graduates at the higher education level in the field of medical education and health sciences, who develop research skills to generate knowledge and innovate in the areas of education related to the teaching of health sciences, applicable to their practice. To strengthen graduates' capacity to assume leadership in the field of education, research, and educational administration in the field of medicine and health sciences.
Specific objectives
– To provide a formal instance for professionals interested in teaching and training work in the area of Education related to health.
– To create a critical mass of academics and professionals with solid pedagogical foundations and an open mind to change who facilitate innovation in the design, development and evaluation of educational processes.
– To optimize educational processes, responding effectively to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing environment.
