General objective
TO TRAIN SPECIALISTS IN DIDACTICS FOR METHODOLOGICAL CLASSROOM WORK, CAPABLE OF SOLVING CONTEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES SUCH AS INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY OR THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY THROUGH ANALYTICAL PROCESSES OF THE DIVERSE EDUCATIONAL REALITIES AND THE APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE PROPOSALS IN TEACHING PRACTICE.

CONTEXTUALIZE THE THEORIES THAT SUPPORT THE METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TEACHING PRACTICES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE REALITIES OF THE CLASSROOM.

DESIGN, IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE UPDATED METHODOLOGIES IN THE AREAS OF DIDACTICS IN SUPPORT OF TEACHING WORK.

DEVELOP ACTION RESEARCH COMPETENCIES IN EDUCATION, BASED ON SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE, TO IMPROVE CLASSROOM PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES THAT DEEPEN CRITICAL AND SELF-CRITICAL THINKING, AS WELL AS TEAMWORK.

Specific objectives
– To contextualize the theories that support the methodological strategies for building teaching practices that are consistent with the realities of the classroom.
– To design, implement and evaluate updated methodologies in the areas of didactics in support of teaching work.
– To develop action research skills in education, based on scientific evidence, to improve pedagogical practices in the classroom that deepen critical and self-critical thinking, as well as teamwork.

Each education professional participating in the program, through this academic instance, will be able to develop capacities to reflect and carry out critical analysis based on scientific evidence in an autonomous and collective manner regarding problems related to the didactic, methodological and educational work of the classroom in particular, as well as the educational system in general.

Active use of new didactic-methodological work trends in the classroom, in accordance with current paradigms of Chilean education, which consider diversity and inclusion, and which are contemplated in educational policies.
Use of technologies and social networks as pedagogical tools that are in line with the current socio-historical context.
Interdisciplinary work through classroom projects that promote exchange and cooperation between different areas of knowledge.
