Graduates of the Master's Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Concepción possess the scientific knowledge and skills to develop research in the area of pharmaceutical sciences, focusing their work on satisfying the current needs of the environment, through the resolution of problems relevant to pharmaceutical sciences and oriented towards medicines, toxins or food.
Lines of investigation
– Analytical Area: Analytical tools for qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs, toxins, food, natural products, pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations.
– Technological Area: Development and evaluation of biotechnological products and systems for the release of active ingredients of pharmaceutical, chemical or biological interest.
– Pharmacological and Toxicological Area: Chemical, pharmacological and toxicological study of natural and synthetic molecules in in vitro and in vivo models.
