goals
To deepen the knowledge of professionals in the area of metallurgy or related fields, creating specialized human capital, capable of integrating into applied scientific research teams and/or higher education in the specialty or leading work and/or research groups in mining companies.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold either a Bachelor's degree or a professional title in metallurgy, chemistry, or related fields, with a level and content of study equivalent to that required for a Bachelor's degree. Furthermore, the Program Committee will make the final decision regarding applicants' applications for admission.
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program will be highly qualified to design and lead experiences, generate publications in mainstream journals, participate in project formulation, advise companies and organizations related to the mining industry, join applied research groups within mining companies, and teach at the higher education level in the field of Extractive Metallurgy and Mineral Processing.
