goals
The goal of the Master's program is to train researchers with advanced knowledge, with an emphasis
in research based on both the fundamental topics of physics, as well as the lines
specific to the Program, capable of developing original, innovative research, in a way
independently and/or in collaboration, fostering the integration and development of research
high level.
Applicant Profile
Applicants to the Master's program must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics or an equivalent degree with a curriculum of at least eight semesters in length, and demonstrate satisfactory prior training for the purposes and requirements of the program. Applicants are expected to be able to understand academic texts written in English.
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program will have a solid foundation in the fundamental pillars of physics. They will be able to conduct research and actively collaborate in research groups, generating original contributions to knowledge and advancing a scientific field.
During their training, graduates will develop different types of competencies: specific and generic. The former represent areas of knowledge and application.
specific to the performance of professional activity. The second correspond to attributes of scientific work at a professional level and the ability to develop the activity in a global community that allows for continuous training.
