General objective
The Master's Program in Art and Heritage aims to provide a comprehensive view of the relationship between art and heritage. The proposed vision and achievement are based on the definition of integrated contemporary cultural heritage as defined in the 1972 UNESCO World Heritage Convention, specifically the Convention's implementation criteria adopted since the 1990s, which establish that humankind produces cultural goods within society through human interaction.

The specific competencies of the graduate of the Master's program in Art and Heritage will be the following:
– To understand the main paradigms of cultural heritage and their application in the integrated areas involved in the training process of the program.
– To understand the links between intangible, artistic and urban heritage.
– Ability to relate the different manifestations of cultural heritage from an integrated perspective.
– Ability to value cultural heritage from its tangible and intangible aspects.
– Ability to value cultural heritage from the notion of cultural landscape.
– Ability to propose and develop research in the field of cultural heritage from an integrated perspective.
– Ability to identify and value the relationship of cultural heritage in different social and geographical contexts.
– Ability to identify, design and apply strategies for the enhancement of cultural heritage.
