goals

To train researchers in the area of architecture and urbanism with special attention to the way of inhabiting arid zones, considering their climatic specificities, the traditional architecture present in them and the challenges proposed by the growing industrialization and urbanization of the territory.

Applicant Profile

Professionals who hold a professional title or academic degree in architecture and/or related disciplines, with at least eight semesters in duration, and who are interested in starting a research-oriented career.

Graduate profile

The graduate of the Master's program will be a professional capable of focusing research on the architecture and urban planning of arid climates, under a multilateral perspective, from the sustainability of the territory and the energy efficiency of the building to the conservation and recovery of ancient and modern heritage.
Furthermore, he will be a professional with a special ability to link the topics of scientific research with the professional world, coordinating available technological innovations with market demands.
