goals
The Master's in Human Resource Management aims to equip students with strategic tools for human resource management and provide them with an integrated perspective on organizational behavior processes, their development, and application. It also aims to help them understand, apply, and evaluate the use of methods for analyzing and measuring human resource management processes in relation to organizational performance indicators. Furthermore, the program seeks to develop, along with knowledge of advanced conceptual models, the skills and practices necessary to influence and make a valuable contribution to the organization in their roles as human resource professionals and executives.
Applicant Profile
Hold a bachelor's degree, duly accredited by a Chilean or foreign university; 3 years of professional work experience; Personal interview.
Graduate profile
Upon graduation from the Program, students are expected to be able to: 1. Design a people management strategy to address the organization's strategic challenges. 2. Develop systems and plans to manage human talent in complex, demanding, and changing environments, aligned with the organization's objectives. Specifically: a. Understand and apply practices and processes for attracting, retaining, and developing talent. b. Design, implement, and analyze measurement systems for people management. c. Plan and guide organizational change processes. 3. Apply the key components of organizational behavior to people management processes, including the individual behavior of employees and the collective behavior of work teams and the organization as a whole. 4. Social Responsibility and Ethics: be able to make decisions considering the environmental, social, and economic impact on key stakeholders, with the individual at the center. Specifically: a. Analyze and evaluate ethical dilemmas. b. Make decisions considering the impact of these decisions on different stakeholders, with the individual at the center. 5. Management and Leadership Skills: Our graduates will develop the necessary skills to become leaders within the organization. Specifically: a. Leadership: Leading and aligning teams with the organization's vision, developing communication and persuasion skills. b. Negotiation: Using strategies to establish a negotiation and manage conflict. c. Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a team and demonstrating interpersonal skills. d. Communication Skills: Communicating effectively using written and oral means.
