goals
To train specialists in adult psychiatry with the theoretical knowledge and skills necessary to work in any Mental Health unit or service in our country, based on the community mental health model, carrying out high-level care and management work.
Applicant Profile
This program is aimed at surgeons with a vocation for public service and a special interest in adult mental health.
Graduate profile
The graduate of this program will be a Physician specializing in Adult Psychiatry, capable of effectively applying the Community Mental Health model, with the necessary skills to formulate and execute all medical acts related to the diagnosis, therapeutic, rehabilitative, preventive and mental health promotion plan, with an integral view of the person and their environment, based on solid ethical principles and with a critical attitude that is evidenced in the willingness to update and develop permanent scientific knowledge.
