goals
To train a physician capable of practicing general clinical neurology with excellence, based on solid ethical principles, fully qualified for the practice of the specialty, in medical environments of any level of development and technical resources, including prevention, promotion, community education, research and medical teaching.
Applicant Profile
The program is intended for applicants holding a Medical Surgeon degree, issued by any of the Chilean Universities recognized by the State, or obtained abroad and having been duly accredited and validated in accordance with current legislation, with a vocation for service in the area of adult neurology, expressed through a letter of introduction.
Graduate profile
A physician specializing in Adult Neurology with the necessary skills to formulate and execute all medical procedures related to diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, disease prevention, and health promotion, with a holistic view of the individual and their environment based on sound ethical principles and a critical attitude toward their actions, maintaining a commitment to ongoing professional development and the continuous updating of scientific, teaching, and outreach knowledge. They will provide services using the latest scientific and technological advancements, performing their duties with professionalism, altruism, ethical conduct, and a critical spirit.
He will demonstrate the ability to integrate and work as part of a team with other professionals and specialists, in his work, academic, scientific and technological performance in regional, national and international environments.
