Applicant Profile

Application requirements: 1. Academic degree of Bachelor in the areas of construction, architecture, engineering or industries or University Professional Title equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, obtained in a university recognized by the State of Chile or by the State of the corresponding country in the case of foreign institutions; 2. Interview with Program Coordinator (in person or by videoconference); and 3. Approval of background information by the Postgraduate Committee.

Graduate profile

Possesses the skills to lead, advise, and/or coordinate projects in the sector, with a strategic focus and a commitment to continuous improvement. Demonstrates a thorough, in-depth, and up-to-date mastery of knowledge in the field of management and construction systems and processes, both from theoretical and operational perspectives. Incorporates ethical discernment and values people above purely technological and disciplinary considerations, in accordance with the values and principles of the UC. Utilizes technological and management tools for decision-making, striving for resource optimization. Interacts with diverse professionals in the construction sector and leads work teams with a transdisciplinary approach to address industry demands. Identifies the needs and projections of the occupational field, positioning themselves professionally and/or through further studies at the national or international level. Rigorously applies diagnostic tools within their area of expertise to plan interventions and/or make recommendations in the context of a construction project.
