goals
The objective of the Master in Astrophysics is to train highly qualified researchers, either to pursue a doctorate, or to provide high-level support to astronomical research, teaching, or dissemination in the astronomical field.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Astronomy or Physics (or related fields), be available full-time, and have a good command of English and/or Spanish. Prior research experience, while not required, is considered an asset.
Graduate profile
The Master's in Astrophysics is a specialization program in astrophysics with an emphasis on developing research capabilities. A graduate of this program will be a professional specializing in at least one area of astrophysics, with the following characteristics: – Ability to produce and interpret the results of scientific studies in the field and contribute effectively to their publication. – Ability to work efficiently and with high standards of excellence in a research group. – Ability to meet the challenges of a doctoral program with a high degree of scientific maturity.

Cutting-edge research in cosmology, galactic and extragalactic astrophysics, astrochemistry, astronomical instrumentation, high-energy astrophysics, and numerical simulations.
