goals
General objective: The Doctoral Program in Mathematics has as its main objective to train independent researchers with creative originality, who in turn will be an important contribution to national scientific development, and as active academics in the teaching of mathematics at higher education.
Specific objectives:
-To promote the training of human resources that generate top-level research in mathematics.
-To provide the country's higher education system with academics prepared for teaching at the highest level who strengthen the complexity of the institutions.
-Form networks of researchers.
Applicant Profile
Applicants to the Doctoral Program must have training equivalent at least to the academic degree of Bachelor of Mathematics.
Graduate profile
The PhD program in Mathematics will train top-level independent researchers and university academics—scientists with a strong foundation in basic sciences and a proven track record of research.
