goals
The Doctoral Program in Cellular Molecular Biology and Neuroscience has the fundamental objective of training independent researchers with a solid foundation in the various sub-specialties of Cellular Molecular Biology and Neuroscience. To this end, students receive a broad foundational education, enabling them to graduate with the versatility necessary to approach their chosen research problems from diverse perspectives. These characteristics allow us to graduate PhDs capable of conducting independent research with a broad and original perspective, equipping them to develop their scientific careers and successfully integrate into public or private research centers or academic positions at top-tier universities worldwide.
Applicant Profile
Those who hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the respective discipline or in related disciplines, as determined by the respective Academic Committee, granted by national or foreign Universities that ensure satisfactory training for the purposes of the Program, may apply to the Doctoral Program in Sciences with a specialization in Cellular Molecular Biology and Neurosciences.
Graduate profile
The profile of the graduate characterizes a solid and independent researcher in the areas of Cellular Molecular Biology and Neuroscience and in other related fields, who can establish themselves as a research leader both in the existing research areas in our country and in those that are deficient or absent.
